When using the size table please note that the waist measurement is the circumference of the waist band, but the skirt has a light stretch in order to conform to the waist line.
You should measure from the smallest part of your waist at the lowest area, as you want it to sit above the hips in order to flatter the body and sit effortlessly. This area should be near/below your ribcage, or near/ above your belly button.
